The audit is carried out to verify compliance with applicable regulations and enables the issuance of an EC Declaration of Conformity and application of the CE marking. Audit and verification of technical documentation constitute a process of assessing its completeness, correctness, and compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and the requirements of the manufacturer and the user.

The audit is conducted according to the following procedure:

Risk assessment for a machine or an assembly of machines

This is a process of hazard identification, risk estimation related to machine use, and subsequent elimination of hazards or reduction of risks to an acceptable level through appropriate protective measures. This procedure is required by law.

Preparation of operating instructions for machines (new and second-hand machines)

Preparation of operating instructions for a machine is the process of developing a complete, clear, and legally compliant document informing the user how to safely operate, maintain, and use the machine.
The operating instructions are a mandatory element of the technical documentation and a prerequisite for CE marking and issuing the Declaration of Conformity.

Consulting on modification and modernization of machines and assemblies of machines in terms of compliance with applicable Directives.

Consulting on modification and modernization of machines and assemblies of machines is a specialized service involving support for manufacturers, integrators, and machine users in implementing technical changes that comply with applicable EU and national regulations, in particular the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC (and, from 2027, Regulation (EU) 2023/1230).

The objective of this consulting is to ensure that the modified or modernized machine continues to meet legal and safety requirements, namely:

  • does not pose a threat to users,
  • may legally remain in operation,
  • may be re-CE marked (if required).

Assumption of manufacturer responsibility for machine and equipment certification. Authorized Representative of the Manufacturer.

Who is this service for?

  • Manufacturers outside the EU (e.g. China, India, Turkey, USA) intending to legally place machinery or equipment on the European Union market
  • EU-based importers and distributors importing machinery from third countries
  • System integrators assuming responsibility for an assembly of machinery composed of multiple components. This involves:
  • Execution of a power of attorney with the manufacturer
  • Registration of the manufacturer’s authorized representative details in the machine technical documentation
  • Placement of the manufacturer’s authorized representative details on the machine marking (nameplate)

This is an advisory and technical service aimed at ensuring that the machine:

  • complies with all applicable legal requirements (e.g. EU directives),
  • has been correctly CE marked,
  • may be legally sold, transferred, or used on the European Union market.

The service is dedicated to:

Manufacturers:

  • New machinery (serially manufactured or individually manufactured)
  • Assemblies of machinery and production lines
  • Modernized or rebuilt machinery

Users:

  • Entities purchasing machinery from within or outside the EU
  • Entities modifying, combining, or importing machinery
  • Entities intending to legally operate machinery in accordance with regulations
